Adding to the Safe Senders List

  1. Log in to your Bell Canada Mail account using your email address and password.

  2. Navigate to Settings by clicking on the gear icon usually found in the top-right corner of the mail interface.

  3. Select Mail from the available options in the sidebar.

  4. Click on Junk Mail or a similar category where you can manage sender rules.

  5. Find the option for Safe Senders and choose to Add a new email address or domain.

  6. Enter the email address you want to allow. For example, example@example.com.

  7. Click Save or Apply to update your settings.

Creating Filters to Ensure Email Delivery

  1. In Settings, navigate to the Filters section.

  2. Click on Create New Filter and name your filter for easy identification, e.g., "Important Contacts".

  3. Set the filter criteria by entering the sender's email address. This can be specific (john.doe@domain.com) or use a domain (@domain.com).

  4. Define the action for the filter as Move to Inbox to ensure these emails are directed to your main inbox.

  5. Click Save to apply this filter.

Adding Contacts to Your Address Book

  1. While viewing an email from the sender you want to save, click on their email address.

  2. Select Add to Contacts. This will typically open a form to store the sender's details.

  3. Fill in any additional information you want to associate with this contact.

  4. Click Save to add the contact. Emails from these addresses are less likely to go into your Junk folder.

Helpful Tips

  • Regularly review your Junk folder to ensure no important emails are missed.

  • Be cautious when adding entire domains to your safe senders list to prevent spam from subdomains.

  • Update your safe senders and filters regularly to accommodate changes in your communication patterns.

By following these steps, you can manage your inbox efficiently, ensuring that important correspondence reaches you without interruption.
