Managing your email effectively is crucial to ensure you receive all important communications without them being mistakenly marked as spam. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to add safe senders and apply several email management techniques in iiNet Webmail.

Steps to Add Safe Senders and Manage Your iiNet Webmail

  1. Log in to Your iiNet Webmail:

Go to the iiNet Webmail login page. Enter your email address and password to access your inbox.

  2. Add To Contact List:

To add an email address to your contact list, click on the Contacts tab. Select New Contact, then enter the sender’s email address. Click Save to ensure they are recognized as a known sender.

Tip: Adding a sender to your contacts can help their emails bypass your spam filter.

  3. Configure Safe Senders:

Under the Settings menu, navigate to Spam Settings. Here, you can add email addresses to your safe sender list. Enter the email address you want to mark as safe and click Add or Save.

  4. Create Email Filters:

Filters can automatically sort your incoming mail. In the Settings menu, locate Filters or Mail Rules. Click on Create New Filter, enter a relevant filter name, and set criteria based on sender or subject. Choose the action as Move to Inbox to ensure it isn’t marked as junk.

  5. Review Junk Folder Regularly:

Check your junk or spam folder regularly to ensure important emails aren’t there mistakenly. If you find such an email, select it and mark it as Not Spam or Move to Inbox.

Additional Tips

  • Keep your contact list updated with trusted senders to minimize misclassified emails.
  • Regularly review your Spam Settings to ensure optimal protection without blocking important emails.
